The LIGHT is a multi-dimensional, hands-on way to learn and experience Bible stories for children in preschool (3 or 4 years old by 12/1) through 5th grade.
Here is our Sunday morning schedule during the school year-- come join us!

For preschoolers (3s & 4s) through 5th graders
PLEASE NOTE: During the summer we join together with the youth for a Multiage Summer Sunday School. All ages gather together in the Youth Room at the 9 o'clock hour for song and Bible study, then work on projects together or break off into smaller groups. There will be lots of hands on activities for all ages--so come, and bring a friend!
About The LIGHT: LEARNING IN GOD'S HOUSE TOGETHER
At First Presbyterian Church Napa we use a creative model of Sunday school called the Workshop Rotation model. Bible story lessons are presented in four week units with children rotating with their age group to a different workshop each Sunday. Children might dress up and act out the story one week, then create a piece of art, watch a movie, play games, perform in a puppet theater, do a science experiment, or do a cooking activity (to name a few!) in the following weeks. By hands on participation in each of the workshops, children are better able to understand and remember the Bible stories. Children have a great time because there are a variety of activities that are loads of fun!

The LIGHT will take a break for the summer--but we will be back in September! Please join us for Summer Fun at our Multiage Summer Sunday School at the 9 o'clock hour. (see above)
Discovery Bay, our Sunday morning nursery is available for children ages birth-2 yrs. old during the 9 o'clock hour, and birth-5 yrs. old during the 10:30 hour.
