Empowered by the Holy Spirit we exist, so that all may experience the full breadth of God’s love, grace and salvation through Jesus Christ.
Mission & Outreach
Right before his ascension to heaven, Jesus had some last words for his
disciples, reminding them of the importance of spreading the Gospel.
These words are found in Acts 1:8: "You will be my witnesses in
Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the
earth." If he were speaking to us today he might say, "You will be my
witnesses in Napa, and in all California and America, and to the ends of
the earth."
At First Presbyterian Church Napa, we are trying to implement
that vision. We are host to The Table (www.napatable.com), an all-volunteer free meal program that is operated by more than two dozen local community and faith groups. We also actively support V.O.I.C.E.S. in Napa, a community organization that supports youth ages 16-24 that have transitioned out of foster care.
Our children, youth, and adults have worked on Mission projects not only here in Napa, but also in Mexico, New Orleans, Egypt, and the Marshall Islands.
